Please call on the Burmese ( Myanmar) government to stand down the air strikes and stop the violence. It is perpetrating war in Ethnic Kachin state. Air strikes in Kachin State were reported to have begun since December. This situation unfolds into a humanitarian crisis.
Please Help War Refugees receive humanitarian aids that are blocked by the Burmese Government. There are more than 100,000 displaced Kachin villagers since June 2011 and the death toll is still climbing. The fighting is very close to the internally displaced persons (IDPs) camps but the refugees don’t have anywhere safe to go.
We call on all humanitarian institutions, peace-loving individuals and the global solidarity movement for Burma to support the call for peace and ethnic rights of the struggling peoples of Burma.
