Rev. Dr. Hkalam Samson, General Secretary of Kachin Baptist Convention (KBC),
rounded together with President Barak Obama,
along with other public figures in Rangoon yesterday on November 14, 2014.
Dr. Samson highlighted two main issues to Mr. President during the talk.
First, the withdrawal of Burma troops from the war zone, Kachin State, that the subsequent resettlement would be assessible in reality for thousands of IDPs (the Internally Displaced Persons) due to the recent war.
And second, the resuming civil war especially in Kachin, Shan, and Karen is due to the lack of a political solution which is to be done on account of the Panglong's political accord to form a federal Union in Burma.
