Mr.Frank L.Morris Jr ,who had served as protector of Gen,Still well at during ww II in Shingbwi Yang Kachinland,Burma.
On Saturday, January 11, 2014, our family came together in Camp Hill, PA for a Memorial Mass to celebrate the life of my Uncle Frank Morris. Amidst the deep sadness and grief there was unbounded gratitude for his long, generous and loving life which had made a huge impact on all of us.
His latest book, finished only weeks before his death on December 8, 2013, was his final gift to us. Filled with the humor, insight, and kindness that characterized the span of his days, The Nonagenarian is a real treasure.
I have lost an uncle, a coach, a writing colleague and a dear friend. How blessed I’ve been to have had him in my life. He has given me a real example of a life well lived and I’ll do my very best to follow in his noble footsteps. May God give him rest, peace and eternal light.
