The General Secretary of Kachin Development Networking Group (KDNG) namely Tsa Ji meets with US top officials through Global Witness in Washington D.C since November 10.
He discusses the current natural resources conflict with US State Department officials, Upper and Lower Congress members, World Bank Group, USAID, OSI, US National Security Council, CSIS, and US Institute of Peace.
" Regarding Natural resources, Ownership rights, Control Management ,Taxation and revenue sharing should be implemented. Decentralization should be practiced in the region. When we practice Centralization, the conflict will never end" Said Tsa Ji.
He urges US Government and International communities to ban Sanction on Burma continually and pay attention to the causes of conflict in Burma. The exploitation of natural resources causes social, political and economic problems in Burma.
