the agreement reached between the GoM and KIO, there has been a series
of fighting between Burmese troops and the KIA troops recently on a
daily basis in KIA’s 4th bridge area. The agreement point 2(b) stated
that “the parties agree to undertake efforts to achieve de-escalation
and cessation of hostilities”.
