Unraveling the Enigmatic History of Hpakant Kansi Duwa: A Tale of Mysticism and Gratitude (1)



In the annals of Kachin Roya tradition, the reign of Kan Si Du Duwa stands out not only for its political intrigues but also for the mysterious events that shrouded his rule. At the heart of this enigmatic history lies the tale of Muqnat’s golden thunderbolt and its fateful encounter with the abode of Kansi Chyau Pha La.

Legend has it that during a stormy night, Muqnat, the celestial guardian, unleashed a golden thunderbolt that found its mark on Kansi Chyau Pha La's dwelling, setting off a chain of events that would shape the destiny of Hpakant forever. Some whispered that it was an act of divine retribution, while others saw it as a sign of impending change.

Amidst the chaos, emerged Ningwot Dumsa, the master diviner, and prophet, whose keen insight into the spiritual realm earned him both reverence and fear. It was he who foretold the rise of Kan La Maung Naw, a brotherhood helping who would ascend to greatness by virtue of his mastery over the ancient rituals and ceremonies of the Kachin people.

Under Kan La Mawng Naw's guidance, the spiritual worship and rituals flourished, ensuring harmony between the earthly realm and the divine. As gratitude for his stewardship, Kansi Duwa bestowed upon Kan La Mawng Naw's family a portion of the land, cementing their place in the annals of history.

a testament to the riches and power of the Ginsi(kansi) jade lords during their heyday.
    The Ginsu(Kansi)Haw  was built by Duwa Kansi La in 1897, and cinsisted of 12 large magnifiecent bricks buildings.

သြဇာအချိန်အဝါကြီးမားမှုကို ပြသနေသောသက်သေအထောက်အထား
တစ်ခုပင်ဖြစ်ပေသည်။
        ကံဆီးဟော်နန်းကို ဒူဝါကံဆီးလ လက်ထက်(၁၈၉၇)တွင် တည်ဆောက်ခဲ့သည်။ကံဆီးဟော်နန်းကိုထည်ဝါခမ်းနားသော အုတ်နန်း
ဆောင်(၁၂)ဆောင်ဖြင့် ဖွဲ့စည်းထားလေသည်။
